Volunteer

The Pan African Sanctuary Alliance (PASA) places a premium on the training and promotion of national staffs in each member sanctuary.

The Pan African Sanctuary Alliance (PASA) places a premium on the training and promotion of national staffs in each member sanctuary, but recognizes that volunteers from around the world can also pay an integral role.

More than half of PASA’s members accept volunteers for varying lengths of time, and those interested should contact the relevant officials at each sanctuary to learn more. Be aware that some sanctuaries require certain prerequisites — such as French-language capacity, or an advanced college degree program, for instance — and PASA accepts no responsibility for volunteers when on-site.
