Empowering new leaders of the Wildlife Protection Movement

Hiring and cultivating future leaders is a daunting challenge for many PASA member organizations, especially those that work in very remote areas or in unstable countries. To address this, PASA awarded the first ever Leadership Development Grant, which enables African management staff to come to PASA’s annual Strategic Development Conference.

The aim is to help African staff develop their skills, make connections, and become more qualified to become the leaders of PASA member organizations.

We can only award the grant with your support.

Raymond Tchimisso, a rising star in the PASA family, was chosen as the first recipient of the grant. He’s the general manager of Sanaga-Yong Chimpanzee Rescue in Cameroon and has worked with the organization since 2004. Raymond was delighted to join us at the conference, where he met other conservationists and became part of our international network.

Please make it possible for more African staff to come to the Strategic Development Conference and become future leaders.
